Business Code of Ethics

The Founder of Female Faith-based Entrepreneurs (hereafter: FFBE) and all Premier Support Partners have pledged to govern all interactions with each other, with our clients and the FFBE community members following the principles and commandments of the Bible.  The purpose of this code of Ethics is to guide us in living a happier and more productive life according to the commandment by Christ to Love one another and to honour and keep the 10 Commandments as outlined in Exodus 20:1-17.

We also recognize The Lordship of Jesus Christ that permeates the whole of life; its attitudes, actions, and relationships. (Isa 8:13; Matt 6:24; Acts 5:29, Col 3:23.)

FFBE pledges to follow the spirit and law of the code of ethics with the commitment to maintain this covenant regardless if others do not subscribe to this pledge.

THE PLEDGE: (Principles and Values)

1

Respect and Justice

Human beings, though corrupted by sin, still carry the likeness of God (Gen 1:26, 27). Thus all are to be treated with respect and justice. The freedom to exercise moral and ethical judgment is an essential ingredient in the dignity of personhood.
2

Peace and Reconciliation

Matthew 5:9: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
Strive for peace and work towards reconciliation in conflicts, promoting harmony in all relationships.
3

Christian Behaviour

Christians should refrain from violence, coercion, swearing, services that are harmful to others or any method incompatible with Christian ideals as instruments in the attainment of social or economic goals. Nor should Christians, engage with or lend their support to organizations or employers that resort to such actions. (2 Cor 6:14-18; 10:3)
4

Liberty & Justice

Employers should support and demonstrate liberty of conscience, fair wages and working conditions, equality of opportunity, justice, and fairness for all (Luke 10:27). Treat all clients, employees, and partners equitably, and ensure fairness in all business transactions.
5

Honesty and Integrity

Exodus 20:16: "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour."
Be truthful in all business dealings and avoid deceitful practices.
6

Respect and Dignity

Matthew 7:12: "So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." Treat others with respect, valuing their dignity and contributions.
7

Responsibility and Stewardship

Genesis 1:28: "And God blessed them. And God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'" Take responsibility for your actions and be a good steward of the resources and opportunities provided.
8

Compassion and Kindness

Ephesians 4:32: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." Show compassion and kindness in all interactions, and be willing to forgive and support others.
9

Generosity and Charity

Proverbs 11:25: "Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered." Be generous and charitable, giving back to the community and supporting those in need.
10

Work Ethic and Excellence

Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men."
Commit to excellence in your work, striving to do your best in all business endeavors.
